FEM optimization

Mechanical component — FEM optimization

Finite element analysis revealed stress hotspots around corners and bolted joints. We reduced concentrations via fillets and local thickening, validated materials against S/N curves, and maintained safety factors while cutting weight. Deliverables: 3D/2D drawings, calculation report, and test protocol.

Piping stress analysis

Piping — stress analysis & supports

Pressure, temperature, and thermal expansion combined in realistic load cases. Anchors, guides, and spring supports were sized correctly; nozzle loads verified; isometrics and BOM prepared for prefabrication to EN 13480/ASME B31.x.

Machine design

Machine design — concept to production

Modular architecture for service and scaling, GD&T for tolerance control, risk assessment to the Machinery Directive, and extensive use of standard components to cut lead time. We delivered CE documentation and clear assembly instructions.

Concrete and steel interfaces

Concrete & steel — interfaces

Anchorage between machines, steel frames, and foundations coordinated to Eurocodes. We defined assembly sequences and tolerances, specified embedded parts with corrosion class and weld requirements, and ensured a collision-free installation.

Piping layout

Piping layout — access & maintainability

Pipe classes, valves, and instrument branches defined for reliable operation. Clash detection with steel and HVAC minimized rework; service corridors and clearances planned. Prefab-ready isometrics with coordinates and NDT scope.

Stress analysis

Stress analysis — load combinations

Static, thermal, and dynamic loads combined realistically. Mesh convergence and hand-calc checks; bolts, welds, and contact zones verified and translated into actionable design changes. Comprehensive illustrated report with clear acceptance criteria.
